William Morrison

Co-President

Will is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, Will researched biofuels at a cleantech startup and then moved to ExxonMobil where he worked in Strategic Sourcing and Project Management. Will is an intern at Breakthrough Energy Ventures and upon graduation, will join Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division. Will graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Chemical Engineering.

Wendy DeWolf

Co-President

Wendy is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, Wendy worked as a Project Developer at Energy Management, Inc. and then Co-founded East Light Partners, a renewable energy development company focused on distributed- and utility- scale solar and storage in the NE United States. Wendy graduated from Yale University with a BS in Geology and Geophysics.

Sheldon is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, he worked at a boutique investment bank in Hong Kong, and is currently in the dual-degree MBA/International Affairs program. Sheldon graduated from University College London, majoring in Economics.

Carl Ziade

VP of  Alumni & Prospectives

Carl is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, he worked at a private investment vehicle focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors in emerging markets. Previously, he spent six years in banking and M&A advisory focused on energy and utilities with Barclays and Deloitte. Carl graduated from the American University of Beirut majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance, and is a CFA charterholder.

Andres Schippert

VP of Education

Andrés is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, he worked as Site Engineer, executing construction projects commissioned by leading mining corporations such as Barrick Gold and Silver Standard, including the first bi-national mining venture in the world, Pascua-Lama. Andrés is a member of the Argentine chapter of Engineers Without Borders. Andrés graduated from Universidad Católica Argentina majoring in Civil Engineering, with a minor in Economics.

Jenna Scalmanini

Co-VP of Treks

Jenna is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, Jenna worked at Aquaya as the Director of Operations. Upon graduation, Jenna will be starting at McKinsey with a focus on energy and sustainability. Jenna graduated from Stanford University with a BS and an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering.

VP of Finance

Michael is a member of the Class of 2018 at Columbia Business School and Columbia Law School. Prior to graduate school, he worked for the Renewable Project Finance team at Rabobank. Michael graduated from Dartmouth College in 2012 majoring in Economics and Computer Science.

Eric is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, he was an equity analyst at Gabelli Asset Management covering the Power & Utilities industry. Eric graduated from the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Economics.

Michael Torasson

Co-VP of Careers

Michael is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, Michael worked for an engineering consulting firm  focused in the energy and power & utilities industries functioning as a project manager and working on business development. Michael graduated from the University of Iowa majoring in Chemical Engineering. Last summer Michael worked as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Morgan Stanley and plans to return upon graduation.

Yen Le

Co-VP of Partnerships

Yen is a dual degree student with CBS and SIPA, Class of 2018. Prior to school, she worked for Alterna, a social innovation center based in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, where she primarily focused on sustainable agriculture and energy access. Yen graduated from Middlebury College majoring in Economics and Spanish.

Brendan Fischer

VP of Speakers

Brendan is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, most recently in the High Yield Bond Sales & Trading Group as a Research Associate covering the telecom sector.  Last summer he interned as a Capital Advisory Associate at a boutique investment banking, brokerage, and asset management firm that specializes in renewable energy. He graduated from Villanova in 2012 with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics.

Jenna Stauffer

VP of Community

Jenna is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, she was an Electrical Engineer at Arup, a global consultancy. She then moved to First Solar where she worked as a Technology Analyst in the strategy group.   Jenna graduated from Penn State University with an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Moses is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, Moses was a Research Analyst at Energy Aspects, a research consultancy providing analysis of energy markets. Moses holds a BS in Software Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University and a MS in Strategic Management from Cass Business School.

Prateek Jain

Co-VP of Partnerships

Prateek is a member of the CBS Class of 2018. Prior to CBS, he designed private airplanes at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and launched two communication technology startups. Prateek has a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
