Meet Our Board
Jess is a member of the class of 2019. Prior to CBS, Jess worked for a startup lending institution focused on midstream energy and petrochemicals. This past summer, he interned in Jefferies oil and gas investment banking group and will be returning next fall. Jess has a BBA in finance and a minor in Accounting from the university of Texas at Austin.
Anjalika is a member of the Class of 2019. Prior to business school she worked at energy research and consultancy, Wood Mackenzie, in their consulting practice. This summer she returned to consulting at A.T. Kearney. Anjalika has a degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from NTU, Singapore.
VP of Events
Karen is a Member of the Class of 2019. Prior to CBS, she worked at the Carlyle Group and Goldman Sachs, where she focused on the energy sector. This past summer, she interned at a start-up energy infrastructure fund. Karen is also a Special Assistant to the Founding Director of the Centre on Global Energy Policy, at Columbia University, and a Three Cairns Climate Fellow. She holds an M.A. in History from the University of Cambridge, UK.
VP of Communications
Jamsheer is a member of the Class of 2019. Prior to CBS, he worked at IHS Markit in the global energy group This past summer, he interned at Goldman Sachs in the Natural Resources group. Jamsheer received his MS in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia and his BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
VP of Community
Cameron is in the Class of 2019. Prior to CBS, he worked in oil & gas investment banking and advisory in Houston. This past summer he interned at Centenus Global Management. Cameron has a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.
VP of Careers
Aash is a member of the Class of 2019. Prior to CBS, he worked at Abbvie Inc. in their R&D pharmaceutical pilot plant testing facility and Chevron Phillips as a petrochemical manufacturing operations engineer, before transitioning into the internal strategy and commercial group. Aash graduated from Northwestern University with a Bs.Eng. in Chemical Engineering and Economics.
VP of Power & Renewables
Matt is a member of the class of 2019. Before coming to CBS, Matt spent three years in private equity at American Capital and Strata Energy Investments focused on oil & gas infrastructure. Prior to joining American Capital, Matt worked at Credit Suisse in their Oil & Gas group. This past summer, he interned at Tesla in Fremont, CA. Matt has a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
VP of Traditional Energy
Miles is a member of the CBS Class of 2019. Prior to CBS, Miles researched algal biofuels in a genetic engineering laboratory and then joined ExxonMobil where he worked in Pricing, Corporate Development and Sales. Miles is an intern at LASA Holdings, an infrastructure PE sponsor. Miles graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BA in Economics.
VP of Symposium
Ananya a member of the class of 2019. Prior to CBS she worked in Engineering in Oil and Gas in Houston followed by Education Non-Profit work in India. During the past summer she interned at Big Path Capital (an impact investment fund). Ananya received her Masters in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from India.
VP of Alumni & Prospectives
Patrick is a member of the Class of 2019. Prior to CBS, he worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in the Global Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities team and at Continental Resources, an independent exploration and production company based in Oklahoma City. This past summer, he interned at Evercore in the firm's Restructuring and Debt Advisory group. Patrick received his AB in Economics from Harvard College.
VP of Finance
Rob is a member of the full-time MBA class of 2019. Prior to Columbia, Rob worked in public finance at Wells Fargo Securities executing large bond financings for clients such as the MTA, Port Authority of NY & NJ, and the State of Connecticut. This past summer, he interned at Morgan Stanley and will be returning next year as an investment banking associate. Rob graduated with a BS from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service with a major in Economics and Finance.
